This Is My Prayer

Dear Lord,
For every step that this child takes
Please send your angel, for her sake.
To keep her safe and from all harm
To sure her feet and in your arms.
This is my prayer, dear Lord please hear
To keep an angel for her near.
And if you call me home tonight,
Please give me wings of grace and might.

So I may be the one you send
To guard this child until the end.
